Patz Vertical Mixers help Japanese dairy farmers

Two more Patz Vertical Mixers (pictured) embarked for Japan on May 31. After a month-long journey overseas, the Patz Model 800 Twin Screw Vertical Mixers are supplying the herds of two Japanese dairy farms with a thorough, consistent TMR.

Japan is one of Patz Corporation's oldest international markets, having established an International Distributorship there in 1974. Japanese dairy farmers continue to rely on this distributorship for Patz products and services as they have for the past 37 years.

After March's devastating earthquakes and the ensuing tsunami, Japanese farmers were left with extensive damage to their farms and processing facilities. Four months later, the agriculture industry is making headway. However, the people of Japan continue to struggle with power shortages and the ongoing nuclear power plant crisis.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Japan as they persevere in rebuilding their lives in the wake of tragedy.
