Fourth generation dairy farmer, Tim Sohrweide, has seen improvements in the health of his herd and increased milk production since installing his 350 cu. ft. Patz Model 800 Stationary Vertical Mixer. Shady Lane Dairy milks 185 cows twice daily and herd production averages 72 pounds per cow per day with 4.0 butterfat and 3.1 protein.
“Production has increased 3 to 4 pounds per cow due to the better mix,” stated Tim. “The Patz mixer does a great job.”
